Blessing CEO Breaks Silence on IVD Breakup as VDM Drops Fresh Explanation on Davido Fallout
Nigerian social media has been buzzing after relationship commentator Blessing CEO confirmed that her relationship with businessman IVD has ended, while social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has also opened up about his controversial fallout with Afrobeats superstar Davido.
Both stories have continued to generate strong reactions online, with fans closely following the latest statements from the personalities involved.
Blessing CEO Confirms Breakup With IVD
Blessing CEO, whose real name is Blessing Okoro, has confirmed that she and businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, are no longer together.
The relationship expert made the announcement while responding to questions from fans about the current state of her relationship.
According to Blessing, she decided to listen to people who had repeatedly advised her to leave the relationship.
She said she had now left IVD and wanted to concentrate on rebuilding her life.
“Trust me, I have left him. Let me pick up the pieces of my life,” she said.
Blessing also described herself as a single mother and said she was back on the dating scene.
In her usual playful style, she invited interested men to send applications through her direct messages, but added that they should have money.
She also said anyone interested in dating IVD was free to do so.
However, one of the strongest statements from Blessing was her comment that she could not remain in a relationship that might cost her life.
The statement immediately triggered reactions because of the amount of public attention that has surrounded the relationship.
How Blessing CEO and IVD Became a Public Couple
Blessing CEO and IVD became romantically linked after she had initially been known for offering relationship advice.
Their relationship attracted considerable attention because of IVD’s previous marriage to the late Bimbo Ogbonna.
Bimbo died in 2022 following a fire incident at the couple’s Lagos home. The circumstances surrounding her death generated major controversy and legal proceedings.
IVD was later discharged and acquitted in 2025 in the criminal case connected to his late wife’s death.
Blessing and IVD subsequently became one of the most talked-about celebrity couples online. Their relationship also attracted criticism, support and frequent speculation from social media users.
The pair became engaged in April 2025, making their latest breakup announcement another major development in their highly publicised relationship.
For now, Blessing has made it clear that she considers the relationship over and wants to move forward.
IVD’s public response to the breakup has not provided a competing account of what caused the separation in the latest reports.

VDM Finally Explains What Happened Between Him and Davido
While the Blessing CEO and IVD story was making headlines, another major Nigerian social media controversy was also developing.
VeryDarkMan has given a detailed explanation of how his relationship with Davido reportedly changed from friendship to a bitter public fallout.
VDM said the relationship between him and Davido initially became close after the singer followed him on social media in 2024.
According to VDM, he was excited by the development because Davido was already an internationally recognised star. He said they became friendly and that he regularly supported Davido by promoting his music.
VDM claimed that the situation later changed because of issues connected to the campaign for justice for late singer Mohbad.
He alleged that in 2025 he came across a WhatsApp group conversation involving several entertainment personalities and members of Davido’s wider circle.
According to VDM, the conversations made him believe that some people around Davido had discussed efforts that could lead to his arrest in 2024.
VDM said he was particularly shocked because he believed he had a friendly relationship with Davido and some members of his circle.
He also claimed that he tried repeatedly to contact Davido to ask whether the singer knew anything about the alleged discussions but said Davido did not answer his calls.
VDM described the situation as a betrayal and said the Mohbad controversy was ultimately what destroyed the friendship.
Davido's Camp Responds
However, the allegations have been rejected by Davido's personal logistics manager, Israel DMW.
Israel said Davido had no involvement in any alleged plan to have VDM arrested and claimed that people who participated in the controversial WhatsApp group did so without Davido's knowledge, instruction or approval.
He also rejected claims that Davido was involved in Naira Marley's difficulties following Mohbad's death.
Israel further questioned claims that Davido wanted Mohbad's music catalogue or attempted to sign Marlian Records artiste Zinoleesky.
This means the controversy currently has two very different accounts: VDM says information he obtained made him feel betrayed by Davido's circle, while Davido's camp says the singer was not involved and had no knowledge or approval of any alleged plan against him.
For now, neither side appears ready to completely close the matter.
With Blessing CEO and IVD's breakup dominating relationship discussions and VDM's latest explanation reigniting the Davido controversy, both stories are among the major Nigerian social media talking points of the moment.
