VeryDarkMan Alleges Police Intimidation Over Lagos Invitation, Vows to Pursue Matter Through National Institutions

Nigerian social media activist and influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has claimed that he received an invitation from the Nigeria Police Force to appear in Lagos over an ongoing matter involving Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Jimoh Moshood.

In a post shared on his official YouTube community page, VeryDarkMan alleged that the invitation was an attempt to intimidate him, claiming that the same police officer against whom he says he has evidence is now inviting him for questioning.

The activist further alleged that authorities had previously attempted to persuade him to abandon his position but, following his refusal, were now seeking to lure him to Lagos with the intention of arresting and detaining him.

VeryDarkMan also claimed that the matter would not end with the police, stating that he intends to escalate his complaints to the National Assembly, the Senate, the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), and the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA).

Addressing AIG Jimoh Moshood directly, he repeatedly demanded answers regarding an individual identified as "Bode" and referenced what he described as the "first statement of Bariga and Fabo," insisting that public officials must be held accountable for their actions.

"I can't be intimidated," VeryDarkMan declared, maintaining that he would continue demanding accountability despite the police invitation.

As of the time of filing this report, the Nigeria Police Force and AIG Jimoh Moshood had not publicly responded to the allegations made by VeryDarkMan. The claims remain those of the activist and have not been independently verified.
