Sowore Alleges DSS Ordered Prison Officials to Put Him in Uncomfortable Section at Kuje Prison

African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has alleged that operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) instructed officials at Kuje Prison in Abuja to place him in an uncomfortable section of the facility.

Sowore made the allegation while speaking about his experience at the correctional facility, claiming that the instruction was intended to make his stay more difficult.

The AAC presidential candidate did not provide further details about the specific conditions he described as uncomfortable or identify the DSS officials allegedly involved.

The allegation comes amid Sowore’s continued criticism of Nigeria’s security agencies and the government over issues relating to his arrests and detention.

However, the claims remain allegations, and there has been no independent confirmation of the alleged instruction by DSS operatives.
